The museum is open every day from Easter until the end of September and then at weekends and school holidays from November until March.

Housed on the ground floor of the attractive 17th century "Rose Cottage" the museum contains many impressive displays, including 'Rorke's Drift', 'WW1 Battle Scene', 'Circus' and numerous Film and TV related models.

On display is a working  outdoor 'G' gauge railway and two further interactive indoor railway layouts.

The museum has continually grown, adding to its collection of childhood memorabilia and new exhibits year on year.

The museum shop offers a vast selection of models, both new and obsolete, from the 1920's to the present day, including locomotives, cars and lorries to tempt collectors of all ages.
